Ultimately, both the current ruling party—which flies the flag of democracy yet stays silent as a statue on the election system, a core prerequisite of democracy—and the opposition party—where individuals with short political careers rely entirely on state subsidies as their financial base, becoming quasi-civil servants who hold on simply by lining up behind the right faction—are problematic.
However, practically speaking, it is difficult to reject all of this outright. This implies that Zheng Dong-hee’s task in this area will be extremely arduous. Nonetheless, please face the reality that unless Zheng Dong-hee finds the clue to the solution, the future of South Korea is not bright.

Furthermore, from February 2025 to August 2025, myself, alongside my now-deceased father and my mother, filed emergency rescue requests eight times through the e-People (Kookmin Shinmungo) portal. In particular, in July and August 2025, after the inauguration of the Lee Jae-myung administration, an unbelievable incident occurred where officials such as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the South Korean Embassy in Australia pressed the withdrawal button on emergency rescue requests that we had not withdrawn ourselves. This demonstrates how incompetent the diplomacy of the Lee Jae-myung administration is behind the scenes, despite continuously shouting slogans of “pragmatic diplomacy” since its inception.

Through this struggle, I belatedly realized that I had taken Australia’s history too lightly. Up until the 1970s, they forcibly separated Indigenous children from their parents at birth and exploited their labor under the name of “civilization” through religious institutions and white families. Australian public servants and religious institutions walked hand-in-hand at the forefront of these state crimes. At that time, to hide these animalistic state atrocities from the media and the international community, they abused the “non-disclosure designation” system. The cabinet of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese took the lead in applying this same non-disclosure designation to the $100M+ bribery and corruption case involving the Perth state-owned bank CEO that I exposed as a whistleblower, placing an embargo on the Australian media to shamelessly secure re-election in the federal election on May 3, 2025.
The Lee Jae-myung administration in South Korea provided no help whatsoever. Furthermore, the new Federal Attorney-General, Michelle Rowland—who took office after Prime Minister Albanese’s landslide election victory—acted even more dictatorially, breaking government promises four times when counting from the former Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus. This occurred even though I contributed to the forfeiture of USD 18 million of the defendant’s criminal assets to the Australian national treasury through the final civil court victory secured in June 2024. In particular, Treasurer Jim Chalmers, who pocketed the money through this national treasury forfeiture, went a step further in power abuse, threatening to forfeit everything if additional exchange rate margin differences resulting from the Reserve Bank of Australia’s 2025 interest rate cuts were not paid in advance.
